SA-115 - Great Bass Speaker Cabinet June 13, 2010

I purchased 2 of these used just a bit short of two years ago.  They sounded great the day I got them and still serve faithfully today.  They have a lot of punch when used as Bass Cabinets and at times have been used as low to mid-range support on larger gig or outdoor PA applications we have played.

One of my initial requirements were that any cabinets I buy are lighter than the cabinets of the 70's and 80's and these are very light in context to the amount of sound and air they push.

Have recommended to several people who have either purchased these or other SA cabinets and have been happy with their purchases, as well.

I purchased one of these to replace two 15inch custom subwoofers.  Why did I choose this cabinet?  Because it fits under my DJ table perfectly, thus out of mind out of site to patrons and making them wonder where that low end is coming from.  Maybe this cabinet was not meant to be a sub, but it works awesome as one!

I bought one of these after reading so many rave reviews, and this cabinet has been a total surprise! The tonal quality, along with how light it weighs, make it an excellent addition to my bass rig.

I just paired this with my SA410 cabinet which I wrote a reviw for also. To my surprise, this cabinet is extremely light in weight but not in sound. It has the room shaking lows that I like considering i mostly play Praise and Worship music as well as Funk. This along with the SA410 really sing and compliment each other. If you are looking for a nice rig and don't have a lot of money, this is the rig for you.
