This cable is designed to be used with an existing 1/8" (3.5mm) connection of a digital audio player (such as an iPodŽ) or similar device to a stereo system. It is ideal for connecting an iPodŽ, iPhoneŽ, laptop, or similar device to a hi-fi receiver using a 1/8" to 1/8" cable. These can also be used to hook up your digital audio player to guitar amplifiers and power amplifiers that have RCA connections and do not have the 1/8" connection.
