SARMSS-24x515 - 24 Channel XLR TRS Combo Splitter Snake Cable - 5' and 15' XLR trunks
The SARMSS-24x515 is a 24-channel splitter snake designed for live sound engineers and venues running dual FOH/monitor console setups. This rack-mountable splitter takes your stage inputs and splits them to two separate mixing positions without signal degradation.
This hardwired Y-splitter features a heavy-duty steel stage box with XLR/TRS combo jacks that accept both XLR and 1/4" connections. Each of the 24 channels splits to dual XLR outputs via separate 5-foot and 15-foot trunks, giving you flexible positioning for your consoles.
Built with 22-gauge conductors and 100% individually shielded pairs, this splitter maintains signal integrity while rejecting noise and interference. The 3-space rack-mountable design keeps your stage box secure during transport and setup. Both the stage box and fantail connectors are clearly labeled for quick identification during show prep.
Perfect for venues running separate FOH and monitor mixing positions, churches with front-of-house and broadcast feeds, or rental companies serving multi-console events. The dual trunk lengths accommodate typical console placement scenarios without excess cable management.
Connect microphones and instruments to the stage box XLR/TRS combo jacks, then route the 5-foot and 15-foot XLR trunks to your mixing consoles. The splitter passes 48V phantom power to condenser microphones through both outputs simultaneously.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this splitter work with condenser microphones that need phantom power?
Yes, this splitter passes 48V phantom power from your mixing console to condenser microphones connected to the stage box. When you enable phantom power on your console channel, it travels through the splitter to power condenser mics, wireless receivers, and DI boxes that require it. Both output trunks receive the same phantom power signal.
What's the difference between this splitter snake and a regular snake?
Regular snakes send signals from your stage box to one mixing console. This splitter snake takes each input signal and sends identical copies to two different destinations via separate trunks, letting you run dual console setups for FOH and monitor mixing or main and broadcast feeds from the same stage inputs.
Can I connect both XLR and 1/4" cables to the same channel on the stage box?
No, each combo jack accepts either an XLR or 1/4" connection, not both simultaneously. The combo design lets you connect XLR microphones, 1/4" instrument cables, or 1/4" outputs from DI boxes and wireless receivers to the same input jack, but you choose one connection type per channel.
What installations benefit most from this 24-channel splitter snake?
This splitter works best for permanent installations running separate FOH and monitor consoles - churches with sanctuary and broadcast mixing, theaters with main and recording feeds, conference centers with house sound and streaming setups, and venues where sound engineers need independent control over different mixes from the same input sources.
How do the 5-foot and 15-foot trunk lengths help with console placement?
The dual trunk configuration gives you positioning flexibility for different console setups. The 5-foot trunk works well for monitor consoles positioned close to the stage, while the 15-foot trunk accommodates FOH consoles placed further back in the venue. This eliminates excess cable on shorter runs while providing adequate reach for longer connections without needing extension cables.

SARMSS-24x515 - 24 Channel XLR TRS Combo Splitter Snake Cable - 5' and 15' XLR trunks
With this snake cable, each pair of heavy duty conductors is individually shielded, yielding crystal clear sound while rejecting extraneous noise. XLR connectors make this snake cable fit right in with professional power amps and mixing consoles without the need for converters or couplers. These snakes are your basic hardwired Y splitters. They each have a stage box and two hardwired short trunks with fantails. These splitter snake cables do not have splitter transformers, ground-lift switches, or multi-pin disconnects. These splitter cables are straight send snakes and do not have any returns. The cable ends on the fantails are all male XLR, while the stage box consists of all female XLR and 1/4" combo jacks. You can plug an XLR or a 1/4" in to the box end of the snake. Each stage box is well labeled and constructed from heavy duty steel. The Stage Box is rack mountable for convenience and ease of transport. Both fantails are well labeled and grouped by color
